LC Blue Bluegrass Band
LC Blue has released their second CD project entitled LC Blue Pickin’ In The Old School Yard.This is their second CD project in the last two years, following the successful release of LC Blue Pickin’ Favorites.In their latest release are featured several hard driving bluegrass instrumentals together with some soul searching gospel vocal renditions.
The band consists of six senior members and two sophomores. The 2008 band members are Cassandra Bruffy on Dobro, Ashley Burkhammer and Shae McClain on Fiddle, Zach Cochran and Zeb Davisson on Guitar, Richie Jones and Samantha Lowther on Banjo and Rex Putnam on Bass.Mark Lynch plays mandolin and directs the group.
LC Blue would like to encourage any Lewis County High School student to join the band.They do not need to have an instrument or have any previous musical experience, just a desire to play and sing acoustic music.
